Virginia’s Retirement Party
Employees and Residents gathered to wish Virginia, our outstanding Director of Nursing, the best of luck on her new journey in retirement. There were several tearful goodbyes and a few speeches. Our Administrator, Steven Still, noted that Virginia was one of the best Directors Of Nursing he has ever worked with in his 30+ year career as an administrator. HR Director Jennifer Kerr commented on Virginia’s patience and understanding of others. Resident Kirth Roach gave a heartfelt speech to wish her farewell.
Mother Maria Christine and Claire, our Activities Director, presented Virginia with a handmade card signed by Residents and staff.
The nursing staff shared humorous stories and their fondest memories with Virginia before posing for a group photo together.
She was also presented with an award for her 14 years of loving service.
