Wouldn’t it be a treat to wrap up your holiday shopping by November 2? Patrons of the Holiday Bazaar sponsored by the St. Augustine Guild were able to find perfect handmade gifts and food for the holidays.
Co-chairs Pat Chang and Gail Clute assembled all the Guild Elves needed to transform Lanagan Hall to a showplace of Christmas pottery, book angels, trays and trays of pies and cookies, beautiful baby clothes, sparkling scarves, and a magnificent afghan made by resident Peggy Karress. They made sponsoring the Bazaar look easy, but in fact people have been knitting, tatting, crafting, baking, and sewing for months in preparation for the popular two-day event.
