The Guild of St. Augustine Home has hosted another fabulous Spring luncheon and fashion show at Ritz Charles in Carmel as a benefit for the work of the Little Sisters of the Poor in Indianapolis. The huge hall comfortably held the attendees 29 table captains welcomed, and the lengthy runway was highly visible to all participants. St. Augustine Guild members, Residents, and employees gracefully showed off the beautiful and original fashions of The Secret Ingredient of Indianapolis.
The Guild raised more than $30,000 through this event, and will respond to a Fund an Item request from Mother Mary Vincent for new linens for the entire house. In addition, funds will be provided to improve the Home’s Physical Therapy equipment and to defray other expenses.
Thank you to Co-Chairs Mary Krall and JoAnne Spellman, Committee chairs Lorita Doucette, Pat Kopek, JoAnne Spellman, Mary Butler, Sharon Dillon, Lauren Spatafore, Gayle Spencer, Mary Reid, Donna Watzke, Pat Killen, Judi Hedberg, Angie Bagnoli, Pat Chang, Janie Remien, and Lois Hehman, as well as to all the table captains and the 62 companies and individuals who provided enticing merchandise and services for a silent auction.
