Nine new AJJ members celebrated the feast of St. Joseph the Worker on May 1. They joined along with AJJ members remaking their annual commitment during the celebration of the Eucharist. A festive supper followed.
Each member recited the AJJ promise: “In your presence, Lord Jesus, with your grace and through Mary’s intercession, I commit myself to the Association Jeanne Jugan of the Little Sisters of the Poor for one year, I promise to serve you in the elderly with joy and love, by following the example of humility and confidence left us by Jeanne Jugan.”
We are blessed though the participation of our Association Jeanne Jugan members in the spiritual life of the Home and by their service to our elderly.
