The Little Sisters of the Poor at the Jeanne Jugan Residence in Washington D.C. were blessed with a surprise Papal visit on Wednesday, September 23. Pope Francis had been at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, just across the street, when he found 15 minutes to visit with the Sisters and commend them on their life calling to care for the elderly poor.
