Each year during November, the Church invites the faithful to remember our deceased loved ones. On the feasts of All Saints and All Souls we pray in a very particular way for those who have died and commend them once again to the Lord’s merciful love. This is a beautiful faith tradition that we would like to share with you and those you love.
It is good that we recall all the ways our loved ones remain forever in our hearts. These 30 days of November remind us to cherish their legacy of goodness, love and care for others, which show how we should live today.
Throughout November, we, the Little Sisters, would like to pray for all those who are dear to you…and all your special intentions. CLICK HEREto send us your intentions.
We are thinking very especially of those who have recently lost a loved one. May our good Lord bring comfort, peace and a gentle healing to all of you.
For those who have a loved one who may be coming close to the end of life’s journey, this thought of St. Jeanne Jugan can bring much hope –“the Hail Mary will take us to Heaven.” Pray the Hail Mary and know the Little Sisters are also praying the Hail Mary for those approaching the hour of death.
Year-round, you and your family are being remembered at prayer in the Chapel of St. Augustine’s Home. May the Lord bless you for your constant support of our Home. Without you, we could not continue our ministry of love and service to the elderly that we care for here at St. Augustine Home.
