Monsignor John Duncan has been responsible for many packed Scripture studies and weekday and Sunday masses here at St. Augustine. But none has been sweeter than the one generously served with cake in a thank you for his interim role as Chaplain at the home.
Monsignor Duncan served as Chaplain until his retirement some years ago, and he had returned in this interim position until the arrival of Archabbott Lambert Reilly as the Chaplain for St. Augustine. Many Residents and several employees witnessed Msgr. Duncan’s latest farewell, and held onto every word as he spoke for what may be the last time. Given Msgr. Duncan’s return record, we’ll leave any predictions open.
Msgr. Duncan has kept audiences rapt here at St. Augustine for many years. We are so grateful that he has shared his broad knowledge and good heart with us. Thank you Msgr. Duncan, and God bless you.
Thank You, Monsignor John Duncan
