On October 3, the Residents of the St. Augustine Home enjoyed a traditional Octoberfest celebration complete with beer, snacks and merrymaking hosted by the St. Augustine Guild.
Traditional German dances performed by a German Dance Ensemble delighted the Residents and a sing along completed the afternoon festivities. The beautiful Bavarian dress worn by the performers was a joy to behold as they swirled about step dancing and singing. Their costumes – dirndls, lederhosen, and clogs – truly added to the ambience of the celebration! The Residents and all present were all clapping their hands and smiling as they listened to the beautiful Biergarten music being played.
The afternoon was filled with an endless supply of refreshments, good friendship and fun!
