The tension mounted as each race got off to a frenzied scratching, chicks going every-which-way but toward the line!
Three generations of the Weaver family once again brought the magic of the chicken race and chicken bingo to Lanagan Hall. Residents inspected the champions for length of leg and sputzy spirit and made their choices, high in hope. We do not believe there is a patron saint of chicken racing, but prayers flew skyward in hopes of locating a compassionate saint who might support the wings of a chosen chick or plucky piece of poultry.
Thank you, Weavers, for another wonderful afternoon!
