Jazz on the Patio
Recently, at our Home, we have had some feel good jazz that was uplifting and relaxing that all of us enjoyed. Alex Webber and his High School companions formed an old time jazz ensemble for an Eagle Scout project. They played outside on our patio during some gorgeous weather. We were most grateful!
We live streamed the visual event to each Resident room. The day was sunny, breezy and offered some puffy white clouds drifting by in a lazy fashion. It was so nice we were able to open Resident room windows. Live jazz was heard through the House carried on the gentle breeze.
Some of our Residents chose to sit outside on the patio. They wanted the concert up close and personal! They wore masks and were social distancing. The music had toes tapping and hands clapping. Residents were singing along to the tunes they all knew so well.
What a joyful afternoon with some talented young men on a beautiful summer afternoon!
